A Sense of Madness
A masterpiece of security tape I found to photograph on Tottenham Court Road Station
It was created (It IS very creative!) to protect the smashed glass front of one of their new advertisement panels - A production of Madam Butterfly at the Coloseum.
And what burst of expressionsm caused the need to apply the extra bold identity of yellow and black tape?
2) Straight off the Roll
Another for the AutomaticArt Gallery. Its very neatly done - I photographed it in the entrance lobby of MONSOON in Kingston on November27'14, on the way back from the ValeSaleSigning.
At first sight I thought someone had intentionally created the zig-zag, but then I realized it would have created ITSELF simply by the automatic overlapping of the repeated cut-lengths of tape laid side-by-side rather than end-to-end as they come off the roll.
The whole is then finished off with a rectangle surround.
It'd be worthy of a mathematical explanation . . . . . .
LN : "it makes my eyes fizz!"
B : "I wonder if the guy who did it stood back and thought 'ACE!'?"
